The folks living on the still-posh outskirts of
Roland Park call the area Alonsoville, and for good reason. Of course, it has plenty to do with the fact that
Alonso's has been a neighborhood institution since it opened in 1931, but you might be wondering what that has to do with
S'ghetti Eddie's.
The Dopkin family purchased Alonso's in '99, and since then the family's Classic Catering has expanded the dining options enormously along this short strip of Cold Spring Lane.
