Get served: S'ghetti Eddie's

Alonsoville eatery delivers, but is it worth it?

Get served: S'ghetti Eddie's
The folks living on the still-posh outskirts of Roland Park call the area Alonsoville, and for good reason. Of course, it has plenty to do with the fact that Alonso's has been a neighborhood institution since it opened in 1931, but you might be wondering what that has to do with S'ghetti Eddie's.

The Dopkin family purchased Alonso's in '99, and since then the family's Classic Catering has expanded the dining options enormously along this short strip of Cold Spring Lane. Loco Hombre, Miss Shirley's and, the third addition to the Alonsoville empire, S'ghetti Eddie's, have become a dining Mecca, as evidenced by the cyclical parking crunch that coincides with meal times.

See the digs, taste the fare and decide for yourself if S'ghetti's is worth a visit.
