My favorite OC spots

I've got an itch for the beach, so I've decided to compile a list of my favorite places to go when I'm 'downey ocean'.

Thrasher's French Fries -

807 Atlantic Ave. - Ocean City

These are the best french fries ever. The only thing that sucks about Thrasher's is dealing with all the noobs from Pa. and N.J. at the boardwalk.

If you've read any of my content you'll know how much I love Central American imports. This place has $! Sol bottles on Wednesdays. And the food is better than any other Mexican joint on the island.

The food isn't that great here, but they deliver until 4 a.m. This spot's italian cold-cut has satisfied my munchies many a time.

Believe it or not, my parents love this place. It's full of old-heads during the afternoon, and it's actually kind of fun. The Jim Long Beach Party is often more fun than whatever the night-time entertainment is.

Macky's Bayside Bar and Grill -

5311 Coastal Highway - Ocean City

This is an awesome happy hour spot. The drunken sing-a-long to "God Bless America" as the sun sets over the bay is a truly unique OC experience. It can get a little touristy, but it's still good times.

I know there's a lot of Grotto-lovers out there but nothing beats a sweet-pepper pizza from Lombardi's. I've been going here for as long as I can remember.

105 64th St. - Ocean City

It's located almost directly across from my family's place in OC, so it makes for a quick stumble home. Sometimes they get decent live music and there's usually a pretty fun crowd.
