Johnny Love brings the style

After going to Tattooed Heart almost 3 years or so ago, I have been in the Masters (Johnny Love) chair three times, and brought 2 other people to experience the mind of one of the premiere tattoo artists on the East Coast. I personally have 17 tattoos and already have a plan for full sleeves with Johnny's guidance and natural artisic ability. Now tattoo's aside, everyone in the shop makes you feel at home and relaxed to come there. Most shops have this "PreMadonna" attitude, THS makes it easy to just sit down, get your tattoo and learn alot about care, history, and advanced tattoo history. Give them a try...oh and check out the art work.....Not everyone that can draw can tattoo....these guys do both.....

Absolutely Amazing!

I had gotten my first tattoo a month before my 17th birthday, and I had gone to Modern Man. By the time I had decided to get a second one a month after my 18th birthday, Modern Man had raised it's prices significantly. Not only that, but they were not willing to customize anything that I had brought in. So, a friend and I went to get lunch at "The Canopy" and we were sitting in the car like, "hey...there's a tattoo shop", Tattooed Heart. We looked at each other, laughed and went in. I had Johnny Love the first time around, and I'm so so so happy with my tattoo. We had given him an outline of what we wanted, and he made it better! After that, I had decided that Tattooed Heart was pretty awesome and I was going to go there again. For my third tattoo, a matching one with my mother and sister, I convinced my mom to head down to Tattooed Heart, even though she had originally set her heart on Modern Man. We had White Trash Matt this time, and all in all, it was a fun time [despite the pain].

I have nothing but good things to say about tattooed heart =]

It is my sons 18th birthday today and Johnny and Matt were able to work around our day to give my son his first tattoo. He has been talking about it for years so I wanted it to be an experience that he would remember for the rest of his life. I didn't want it to be just getting a tattoo. Johnny and Matt knew that we wanted to get the tattoo today. They did everything to help Alex design what he wanted and it came out even better than what Alex originially drew.
thank you so much for helping me bring in the last 18 years of my sons life with something he will always have.

I Love my new tattoo from Tattooed Heart!

Tattooed Heart in Glen Burnie is truly my idea of what a tattoo shop should be. I admit, I watch way too many of the tattoo shows on television, like Miami Ink and La Ink. I started to wonder what some of the tattoo places in the Baltimore area are like. I have been waiting for a long time to get my first tattoo, so it had to be perfect. After some disappointing experiences at some tattoo shops in Baltimore, I found the Tattooed Heart website and was impressed by the amount of photos and information. When I stopped by one evening I was again pleasantly surprised. Finally, a shop that lives up to all the hype. The staff was an interesting mix of people but they all treated me like family and made me feel comfortable. I was ready to get my first tattoo and I found the place I wanted to have it done. I spoke to Johnny Love, the owner, about a traditional sparrow that I had been thinking about and he set me up an appointment with White Trash Matt. Matt was wonderful, he had a sketch for me to look at when I showed up for my appointment and I was already happy with what he had done with the design. I got the tattoo on my shoulder and it did not hurt as bad as I thought it would. It took a long time for me to get my first tattoo, but I don't think it will be too long before I go back for my second. I hope everyones first tattoo experience is as positive as mine was! Thanks again guys! Ricky
