Nick's Oyster Bar
- Neighborhood: Federal Hill
- 1065 South Charles St.
- Baltimore, MD 21230
- 410-685-2020
- Price range: $$ ($9-$15)
With its concrete floors, bottles of beer on ice, and people standing shoulder-to-shoulder trying to place their order, Nick's is not the place to go to for the atmosphere. There are plenty of fancy bars and restaurants in Federal Hill for that. You go to Nick's for the seafood and the raw bar. If the idea of slurping down a raw oyster creeps you out, there's steamed shrimp, crabs and mussels and even sushi. During the week, the atmosphere at Nick's is pretty laid back, but on weekends, the place can get packed.

I've eaten here several time. They always have great sushi it's fresh and the Dynamite roll are the best.

Great drafts
Temperature, glass size and fresh factor (how often a place cleans its lines and goes through kegs) decide what makes a draft beer delicious. Plus with drafts you can tell yourself you've only had three when you’ve probably really had six.
Favorite Bars
These are the watering holes I frequent the most and would recommend to any Baltimore visitor.
