Two Sisters Bar & Grille, serving breakfast until well past noon, is the perfect place to have a hangover. In addition to the healing breakfasts, Two Sisters also serves delicious dinners, with dishes like corned beef and scrumptious pub grub like burgers and fries. All of the food is of the comfort variety, and it's always served hot, fast and cheap. Before you start thinking this sounds like a good place to pick up a hooker, or a girlfriend or boyfriend, remember that it's a family-run establishment.

Sisters Cathy and Debbie Crum own and run the place, and they'll personally see to it that you have a terrific meal and a nice chat, to boot. Speaking of inexpensive, there's even a weekly free spaghetti dinner night Thursdays. It doesn't get any cheaper than free.

The eclectic crowd seems to change depending on when you visit, but even the folks who whine about the absence of the 1.7th Gen. Korean karaoke joint ought to be pleased with Two Sisters' karaoke Saturdays. Yeah, right. Like those people ever went more than once. Last time I had occasion to go to 1.7th, it looked like a front for cocaine operations.

Presently, the two sisters of Two Sisters have cleaned up the joint and created a respectable-looking restaurant. They even have an eye toward expanding their hours. What they need to consider, though, is expanding the use of the restaurant's AC system, not to mention acquiring a credit card machine. But it is hard to complain, when you can order delicious blueberry pancakes at 1 p.m. and not have anyone bat an eye toward the painfully obvious fact that you've just woken up and you reek of whiskey.

Not a drinker? God, who are you people? Then use Two Sisters to escape the other, dreaded embarrassment: the boyfriend who must eat scrapple at every breakfast.

Dish: Home cooking at better-than-reasonable prices says you can't go wrong with Two Sisters. It's got the charm of a greasy spoon without the dirt and, well, greasy spoons.

Damage: You can get a huge breakfast for less than $8 here -- eggs, pancakes, whatever. The dinner menu is nothing to shut your wallet over, either. Where you run into trouble is when you start throwing them back, which, as you know, is easy to do just about anywhere.

Decision: The atmosphere at Two Sisters is a little lackluster, but for cheap, good food, it's worth a trip. It would be a little weird to eat scrapple in some swank place anyhow, no?
