Have you ever watched a food show host living it up in downtown Hanoi, eating incredibly fresh, vibrant food while sipping beer from little glasses? And afterward, did you get jealous as hell because there are no places around Baltimore that serve that type of food? Well, now you can get a little bit of Vietnam in downtown Baltimore for less than it costs to get a cab ride from Canton to Mount Vernon.

Mekong Delta Café makes you feel as if you're starring in your own food show. Owners Luan Nguyen (Leo to regulars) and his wife, chef Tuyen Vo, bring an authenticity to Mekong Delta that many Vietnamese restaurants lack. But be warned, after one dinner at Mekong Delta you might find yourself wanting to move to Vietnam and finally "go bamboo."
