Carolina's Tex-Mex

Descripcion: Not to be confused with her sister Carolina's Tex-Mex on South Broadway, the Gough Street version is quieter and less crowded. It's not actually a taqueria—it has a plethora of tables and a bar—but because it doesn't have a liquor license at the moment, it's a good place to get authentic Latin American food quickly and cheaply. You can sit at the alcohol-free bar and eat tacos, then shoot a quick game of pool.

Nacionalidad: It may be called Tex-Mex, but Carolina's serves Mexican, Cuban and Salvadoran cuisine.
