Pb&j Elvis at Golden West
Credit:Mike Pursley
Ingredients: Pancakes, bacon, peanut butter, berry sauce, syrup and confection
Damage: $8
Skinny: Elvis’ meals rivaled Roman emperor culinary decadence. Inspired by the King is Golden West’s Elvis. The pb&j version is a thick pancake crossed by a strip of bacon and topped with the peanut butter and berry mix also found on the pb&j French toast. It’s a wrestling match between crisp bacon and the saucy pb&j on a pancake mat. Truly fun and satisfying, but be warned: Ordering this puts you one step away from fried banana country, a.k.a. the point of no return in your downward spiral to Graceland.
