Ingredients: Turkey, bacon, smoked Gouda, lettuce and tomato on a baguette
Damage: $9 (a steal for what felt like 10 pounds of meat between two carbtastic bricks)
Skinny: Though not espoused as a BLT per se, Porters' hefty sandwich showcases cured pork as if it was a BLT. The key to a successful bacon sandwich, we've learned, is crispness. Layered between thick slices of turkey were generous swaths of well-done bacon in all its crunchy glory. Spotlighted by melt-in-your-mouth Gouda and a crispy baguette, the bacon here was not to be taken for granted. Hope your choppers are up to the challenge.
