Jumbo lake trout sandwich at The Lake Trout
Ingredients: Six jumbo (they warned you!) pieces of fish, two separate pieces of fluffy white bread

Skinny: This is one of the most expensive lake trouts in town, but it's also one of the largest portions. The lake trout at The Lake Trout could easily be shared by two, maybe even three, people—if you have a few extra slices of bread. And while we're talking about bread, Lake Trout is the only place we encountered that didn't just slam the fish onto the bread and hastily wrap it in foil. They are actually quite mindful of those ever-important outer layers of the sandwich, handing you two slices of white bread separate from your box of fish, so you can use them as you wish. It certainly makes it easier to put your sauces on. The fish filets are, as the name suggests, quite jumbo, and need to be broken in half to fit on the bread. All in all, Lake Trout is deserving of the name, with a tasty fish prepared while you wait by a friendly staff.
