Cheese plate at Chameleon Cafe
Credit:Lisa Wiseman
Best for beginners
Damage: $11
Skinny: Chameleon Cafe's trio of Spanish blue cheese, semi-soft goat cheese and raw cow's milk cheese served with fresh raspberries and a sweet fruit compote is a perfect plate for someone who wants to try something a little different, but not too exotic. After all, if the only cheese you normally eat either comes sliced from the deli or shredded in a plastic bag, then you don't want to go too crazy your first time out. This gives you a little taste of what's out there in the great, wide world of cheese. Be sure to ask for extra bread, as the cheese plate doesn't come with any.
