Deep-fried apple fritters at Taste

Ingredients: Tempura-fried Granny Smith apples covered in cinnamon sugar and served with vanilla bean ice cream and caramel sauce

Damage: $7.50

Skinny: One can usually tell when someone else is in love by that person's willingness--nay, eagerness--to do silly things. While my affection for this dish was a different kind of love, it was, undoubtedly, just as strong. The warm apple center and crisp breaded exterior, in combination with the best friggin' ice cream I've ever had, made this dessert unbelievably good--and definitely worth doing stupid things ...
