The bananarama at Sofi's Crepes
Ingredients: Despite thoroughly enjoying a savory crepe, the best part about my experience at Sofi s was this sweet crepe. The bananarama is practically swimming in peanut butter, bananas, granola and honey. Just describing it, I remember the smell and it makes me hungry all over again. Beware, though, this crepe is extremely rich, since it's basically all peanut butter.
Damage: $6
Skinny: Hands down, Sofi's will forever be my favorite creperie. Sofi s has been around for only a few years, but it's got its recipes down to a science. The small in-and-out eatery was named after the owner s dog, Sofi, but don t stress finding doggy hairs in your meal. True, you'll find a watering bowl for your four-legged friends, but you'll find it outside. With limited seating, this crepe restaurant was designed for diners to order then leave, crepe-in-hand. The warm, squishy mass comes wrapped in foil, providing on-the-go munchies, which often tantalize crepe-less movie-goers at the nearby Charles Theatre.—Laura Duffy
