The small paper menus don't begin to hint at how good Mekong Delta's food is. Yes, there are descriptions, but they are pale explanations of artfully layered yet simple cuisine. A Mekong Delta menu highlight is the cost. There is nothing on the menu for more than $9. In this economy, it's a blessing to find a good restaurant with such unbelievably good prices. One thing to remember though, Mekong Delta is cash only. Do not make the mistake, as many have, of thinking Mekong Delta takes plastic, because it does not.
