Take a dip

Spring rolls are served in the traditional manner, with lettuce leaves and apple slices and pickled carrots on the side. The point is to wrap everything together, and dip it all in the sauce. This tempers the roll's heat. If you think an apple wrapped in a spring roll is weird, you're not the only one. And it may be, but it's damn tasty, if not a bit messy. Totally worth it, though.
