Breadsoda
Breadsoda is a relative newbie on D.C.'s bar and restaurant scene. Opened in the summer of 2008, it's quickly becoming a favorite hangout of not just those living in and around the Glover Park neighborhood, but also anyone who likes a good place to check out some interesting imports and microbrews and play a little Wii. Yeah, that's right, we said Wii. (For a fee, but there is Wii.) And pool, and darts, and shuffleboard...And the food's pretty tasty, too! There are lots of sandwiches, too, particularly of the deli variety (including pb&j), as well as a nice list of specialty drinks, such as the Dufrain (Guinness with an espresso shot). It's games, it's booze, it's food, it's a little bit of everything, and all without the pretentious air of incessant pundits' chatter.
