A relative of both the Ambassador Dining Room and the Spice Company (all three can be found across from Hopkins' Homewood campus), this is by far the best of the group. Specializing in Lebanese cuisine, Carlyle Club is a refreshing alternative when you've had enough Indian fare or sushi to last until the next big food trend comes around. Warm lighting, cushiony seats, a fireplace and attentive service will have you contentedly nodding off as your belly fills with the last bite of grape leaves, cheese pies, avocado salad or spicy sesame-crusted ahi tuna (among the best in the city).
