However, kitschy this restaurant may be with its tree in the middle of the dining room and its plaster casts of Roman emperors and gods, the food is great and the service is outstanding. There is not a restaurant in Baltimore (or Washington for that matter) which treats children with such respect, catering to them as if they were adults. In return, the staff gets the respect of the children and usually a very good tip from their grandfather.

On top of all the superlatives, one might add that the staff is great with children and treat youngsters with the same courteous and efficient service and they do with their parents. My grandchildren love it here and it is easy to see why.

Very nice restaurant in Little...

Very nice restaurant in Little Italy. Right off Eastern Avenue, you can see it if you turn right off Pratt. The food is pretty good, but it seemed like everything had mushrooms in it. The prices are pretty reasonable for a place with such a fancy atmosphere. Great place to impress a date without going broke.
