Yes, Carrabba's is a chain restaurant. In fact, the same people who own the Outback Steakhouse own it. However, the food this restaurant and bar turns out is far from the ordinary. Sure, there are the predictable items such as pasta, chicken parmesan and wood-fired pizzas, but there are also more inventive dishes such as the lobster ravioli or the Pollo Rosa Maria, a grilled chicken breast stuffed with fontina cheese and prosciutto and topped with mushrooms and basil lemon butter. And if you're looking for an interesting cocktail to go with your veal marsala, try Carrabba's Pomegranate Martini or the Italian Wedding Cake Martini with vanilla vodka, crème de cocoa and pineapple juice.
