Banjara features traditional Indian food that is both familiar—vegetable samosas, curries and tandoori chicken—along with a few items that are a little more exotic like the Lobster Khas served in a fennel sauce or the Alu Chaat potato appetizer flavored with black salt, cumin and asafetida. Except for the chef's specials, all entrees are served family style and during lunch hours, Banjara features an all-you-can-eat buffet. The storefront dining room is comfortable and quiet with the ever-present sitar music in the background.
