Awful Food and Awful Service
By mcbrever from Patterson Place, August 7, 2009

I went here on a Wednesday evening with a group of 10 for a friend's birthday. We were one of the only tables there, but the service was subpar. Our waitress didn't know about the happy hour specials, took orders in a scattered fashion, and needed to be reminded to bring bread for the table several times. The food was not good. I had the calamari, which tasted frozen, and a chicken salad with some of the driest chicken I've ever had. Others in our group were equally unimpressed by the food.

But the real issue has come from the check, which two days post-dinner is still unresolved. Management has a "bag of cash" and also several credit card receipts, and has effectively double-billed for the dinner, while still insisting we have not paid. They are now involving "accountants" to resolve a $300 tab. Very poor experience and I will not return. It's not worth the hassle.

after researching the area to find a restaurant that dosn't use sugar in their dishes I was excited to try Pizzazz . More than what I had imgagined . My server educated me on why they use 'Pink Sea Salt" and agave in the sauce " What a difference" The food was flavorful and fresh" the dessert was to die for and the view on the ater was great. I will be back again and again. Thank you for stepping outside the norm to bring Baltimores Harbor healthy place to eat!

WHAT A NIGHT
By DISAPPOINTED1 from INNER HARBOR, July 10, 2009

Last night was rather interesting! The owners went to great lengths to try and convince people that they are civilized people. But not everyone was fooled! It's VERY obvious that the mother of the husband REALLY does not like the wife. Hey if they can't respect each other as family how can they respect their employees!!!

WHAT HAPPENED?
By CONCERNEDCUSTOMER from INNER HARBOR, July 9, 2009

Today it really broke my son's heart to find that the "fun lady" no longer worked at this resturant. Every morning for the past two weeks she found away to tend to her customers and keep him occupied while my wife and I had our breakfast( she was up on the cartoons more than us). It came as a total shock to find out she was fired for disagreeing with her boss. I HOPE YOU KNOW HOW WONDERFUL SHE WAS!!! The service definitely went from wonderful to can do better. Thanks for the disappointment.

WHAT A LUNCH
By CONCERNEDCUSTOMER from INNER HARBOR, July 7, 2009

Today I had the pleasure of finding out what all the "Pizzazz" was about. I was seated promptly within an area that held most of the extremely small staff. At this time the staff was in a meeting and I began to listen to alot of the issues they were having. After about 30 mins or so the manager/owner became extremely loud and VERY rude while speaking to one of his employees. This man used harsh profane words while firing this employee for " shaking her head." All this because she did not agree... PIZZAZZ has NO CLASS!!! I think the entire episode was uncalled for and I strongely disagree with how he handled it. Take goodness I work for the dept. of labor and not Pizzazz.

I love this restaurant
By goredean from guilford, July 1, 2009

I love this restaurant! I have eaten there several times and have begun to actually crave the Pizza by the slice and the proscuito and melon. My daughter and a friend had the heakthy pasta with fresh fresh fresh vegetables and raved about it. The person next to me had the sausage calzone- I begged a bite (I did know him) and it was a sensation.

The decor is nice enough to make it a night out- and the prices make you want to come everyday. My mouth is watering now.

Daniella
By Dr_Szeto from Capital Hill, June 22, 2009

Daniella, the owner of the restaurant made a big scene when one of my co-workers brought in some food from outside. Really.... 7 people ate here and one brought in food from elsewhere. She kicked her out; we would have left, but we were stuck with our food that came late. Pizazz failed to provide customer service, lacks in grace to their customers, and lost HALF their staff at Pizazz due to a bad attitude and poor management. The service is slow. It took us 45 min. to get food. The food and price is ok. Overall, poor to mediocre restaurant.
