Wednesday
Pazza Luna $10 pasta night
The perfect storm of bad economy and frigid winter weather is enough to keep anyone inside, wearing Snuggies and watching TV until the April thaw. Luckily, Pazza Luna offers the perfect foil to Old Man Winter's glacial grip: Four heart-warming pasta dishes. We tried the oven-roasted tomato risotto topped with jumbo shrimp; potato and truffle ravioli in sage butter and ricotta; crab gnocchi in a lobster bisque cream and black olive-infused tagliatelle tossed with porcini mushrooms and duck in a white wine demi-glace with cream (pictured). If you're not ready for Wednesday after reading those descriptions, you might as well just eat saltines for the rest of your life. For $10, a dish this good is a steal. And with its romantic Italian trattoria feel, this is the perfect date option for the couple on a tight budget. The food will not disappoint, no matter what you get. Just don't fill up on the homemade bread and olive oil served with a whole head of roasted garlic, delicious as it is.
