Tuesday night is always a good night to go out. There aren't too many people out, the waitstaff and the food are still fresh and there are always good specials. Find one at Waterfront Hotel, which offers 12 entrees for $12. From pork chops (pictured) and meatloaf to shrimp and grits to winter stroganoff, Waterfront offers a great variety of solid, well-cooked food at a great price; just don't expect to get two crab cakes for $12. (There's only one per dish.) After dinner, stick around for local, live music at 9 p.m. (which is when the 12 for $12 offer ends).
