Unless it were perched high atop the Legg Mason building, Talara couldn't ask for better visibility in Baltimore. Situated at President and Fleet Streets, the nuevo Latino restaurant greets practically everyone headed into Harbor East from 83. Mojitos and seviche reign, cilantro and jalapeno flavor most everything and sounds like the Buena Vista Social Club fill the space, making Talara, according to one diner, "the best summer place ever." Diners may not be able to kick off their shoes and sit waterfront, but they can take up a mojito in one hand, the best damn ahi tuna slider we've tried in the other and enjoy a brief Latin excursion compliments of Talara, if only for a little while.
