Amanda: Well, it's red. Just like the Ruskies who probably devour this stuff by the vat. But, isn't borscht supposed to be cold? Did I make that up? At any rate, it should at least feature a quivering dollop of sour cream. Do you see any sour cream here? Me, either. Sad, sad time to be a beet-based soup.

Mark: Borscht, if only because of its utterly unappetizing name, is not a meal I've ever had, cold, with sour cream or otherwise. Beets just seem so avoidable. Still, Soup's On's warm borscht had a surprisingly bright flavor, almost fruity even.
