French onion and Jarlsberg cheese

Amanda: As a faux vegetarian, I probably shouldn't have been dipping into the beef broth-based deliciousness, but OMG! The meatiness gives this soup the robust flavor it's known for. The traditional immersed piece of bread and the spoonfuls upon spoonfuls of sauteed onions make mouths so very happy. The only thing missing is a glass of red wine.

Mark: Garlic? Oh, yes! Though we pegged the Jarlsberg for some unholy Swiss, turns out it's a close relative (and actually does have holes, though ours didn't). Fans through and through, this beef-based, cheese-smothered delight will likely start fights between folks who previously believed themselves good sharers. That'll learn us.
