Crab pizzas around Baltimore are all alike, for the most part. Take a pizza and throw on crab meat, top with Old Bay and you're done. Joe Squared has tried to take the crab pizza down a different road of taste and aesthetics. Instead of the traditional circle, this pizza is square. Instead of tomato sauce, the sauce is garlic-based. There are also roughly julienned onions and zucchini on the pie, instead of chunks of hard vegetables. The crab meat is liberally placed throughout its cheese and cilantro bedding. And for the topper, Joe's delicately adds two egg yolks to fortify the pizza with golden nectar. This is a damn tasty pie. The egg yolks make eating it an experience that every food lover should try. It turns what you think crab pizza should be on its head to surprisingly delicious results.
