Della Notte

Is it a real Little Italy restaurant if crab cakes and other Baltimore crowd-pleasers are on the menu? We consider Della Notte not quite an Italian restaurant, but more an American-Italian restaurant. As such, it's probably the best of the breed you'll find. The menu variety makes Della Notte a good choice when diverse palates need to be pleased. Like with all the restaurants in this high-price category, we just can't understand why we have to pay $19 for cheese ravioli. Della Notte does have a lot going for it, though: The bread is freshly baked on the premises, the parking is free and a piano player provides free entertainment nightly in the lounge.
Expensive: $19 or more for a plate of pasta
