Baltimore restaurants offer traditional and unusual takes on the hearty pasta dish

Oh lasagna, that poor scanned-over menu item. It seems some diners are hesitant to order the noodle-based dish when they go out to eat, especially at a non-Italian eatery. This is somewhat understandable given that lasagna can either be really fresh and delicious or downright disastrous. Is the pasta going to be mushy? Is the sauce going to have a kick? Will the cheeses and meat live up to expectations? Additionally, there's no denying that lasagna is one heavy meal. If you're ordering the dish, you're most likely committing to a super rich, larger-than-recommended portion. Well, it's time to stop avoiding restaurant lasagna.
