Provence platter
Credit:Lindsay Smith
Ingredients: Country pate, saucisson sec, olive tapenade, cornichons (pickles), whole grain mustard and toasted baguette
Damage: $13
Skinny: Pate is always a good thing, but when combined with the olive tapenade or whole grain mustard it’s a whole new experience. The saucisson sec (a traditional French sausage) is deliciously peppery and fatty on its own. The baguettes, however, are a little too flimsy to bring much to the plate. A crustier piece of bread would be preferable, but since good saucisson sec is a rare find in Baltimore, one can overlook such details.
