Miss Shirley's

Just because this neighborhood eatery moved to a bigger space across the street from its original location doesn't mean you won't still have a lengthy wait for a table anytime after 9 a.m. There's just more room to wait. It's worth it, though, since Miss Shirley's has such an inviting and toasty atmosphere with rich wood tables and deeply colored walls. Between seasonal specialties and menu mainstays like marble swirl pancakes or the grilled breakfast kabob, the scrumptious Southern-influenced choices seem endless ... which can be a bit taxing on a lazy Sunday morning.
