Morning Edition
If your vision of brunch is a cozy breakfast in a tucked-away nook reminiscent of a Vermont bed & breakfast, Morning Edition is where you want to start your day. Full of charm and warmth, wood tables and benches are scattered throughout the restaurant, and the walls are adorned with assorted knick-knacks. The leisurely ambiance is perfect for settling in and reading the paper while you drink coffee or chatting with friends while you sip mimosas, of which there are multiple varieties. Make yourself comfortable, though, there's often a long wait between ordering your meal and actually eating it.
This breakfast haven (open only Thursday through Sunday mornings) serves food that makes you want to lick your plate clean. The menu changes often, and you can read all about Morning Edition's recent offerings like peach and almond strudel buttermilk pancakes, a lump crab meat omelet and a ham and fried oyster egg Benedict, but those are just the tip of the brunchberg.
