Corks Restaurant in Federal Hill recently underwent renovations that updated the design and layout of its kitchen and dining areas, and while the restaurant was under the knife, the menu also received some major alterations. In the wake of the economic recession (sick of hearing about that yet?), Corks' new menu offers a more streamlined, budget-friendly palette of food stuffs that maintain the sophistication for which the restaurant was previously known. Marrying a French influence with contemporary comfort food and proffering an impressive (and affordable) wine list, Corks' has invested in a secure future despite the economic upheaval creating a general malaise on the restaurant industry.
