City Dock Coffee
In downtown Annapolis, the unassuming City Dock Coffee looks small from the outside (and is pretty small), but feels plenty roomy. Loved for its great energy and atmosphere, this bohemian coffee shop with scratched walls and old-school brown tile floors has become a loved meeting place for friends and a broad spectrum of visitors. While it does serve coffee shop standards (espresso drinks, teas, brewed coffee, pastries and sandwiches), one thing it has that no one else does is Jamaican tea. On ice, the strong citrus and clove flavor has a spicy yet cooling effect for summer days, and, served hot, it warms from the inside out through the winter. Don't forget the best part of any locally-owned coffee joint: The price. This unique blend is only $2.25 for a very satisfying iced grande serving.
