Lures
You have to love a place that doesn't overcook the tuna. Lures' seared ahi tuna, served with soy sauce and wasabi, features beautiful pink slices of tuna dressed only with salt and pepper. It's simple, but spicy and very satisfying with a glass of Resurrection Ale from Baltimore's Brewer's Art. Resurrection is just one of the 14 draft beers that are Lures owner Chuck Soja's pride and joy. The shady back patio gives Lures a slight Austin, Texas, vibe while the cool colors and understated nautical décor put newcomers at ease almost as well as the friendly bartender does. The restaurant's General's Highway location means free parking for customers who are tired of circling downtown for a metered spot. Total cost for a local brew and perfectly cooked tuna: $17.62.
