If you just can't stomach one more MSG-laced, mystery meated cardboard container of Chinese carryout, give into some Zen. The ambiance can be annoyingly family-friendly and the crowd is mainly made up of neighborhood stalwarts, but Zen is a good place to pop into for a quick meal. The soups are soul-healing, the steamed veggie dumplings are spot-on and the entrées (ranging from curries to garlic-based sauces) don't pork you out only to leave you hungry 30 minutes later.
