At first glance, Holiday Foods is just another Dundalk pizza place/sub shop. However, this restaurant and carryout, located in the Historic Dundalk Shopping Center near Dundalk Heritage Park, may serve up simple food, but it's well-made, fresh and not your typical greasy neighborhood grub. In addition to the usual pizza/sub shop menu items, Holiday Foods offers breakfast platters and omelets, homemade lasagna and stuffed shells, Greek specialties, and dinners like meatloaf, flounder and even liver and onions. While you wait for your order to be prepared, be sure to check out the fish tank filled with swimming turtles. (And no, turtle soup is not on the menu.)
