Consider the burrito. Is there a more perfect food? With its simple design of tortilla-wrapped meat and veggies, it is a favorite of poor college students looking to fill up on little cash as well as drunks looking to tame unwieldy stomachs after a night of over-indulging.
Come with us as we sample burritos around town. In the interest of fairness, we chose the same type of burrito at each location. We picked chicken, because even in such enlightened times as these not every spot offers vegetarian burritos. (On a personal note, we avoided beef due to a traumatic incident involving a taco consumed at 4 a.m. on the streets of Tijuana. It was supposed to be cow, but was most likely burro.)
