Potatoes are no longer for feuling clocks or being blasted into the atmosphere with hairspray. Since that Atkins fellow seems to have fallen out of fashion and South Beach is no longer the dieting capital of the world, potatoes are once again a favored munchie of the masses. With carb-tastic treats ranging from simple chips to more exotic Eastern European fare, there are plenty of reasons to reacquaint yourself with this old friend.
