There's nothing worse than sitting down at a restaurant to discover it's BYOB only and you, sadly, came unprepared. There are few things better than picking the right beverage beforehand, though. (And paying liquor store prices instead of restaurant prices is one of them.) Some BYOB places are simply waiting for a liquor license; others truly embrace the idea of BYOB. Some charge corkage or drinking fees and some don't.

Regardless, when it comes to combining delicious food and a smiling attitude toward booze-bringing patrons, here are five of the best restaurants in Baltimore.
