Everybody knows Sanders' Corner as "That dam place" since the restaurant sits high up on a hill and overlooks the Loch Raven Dam's reservoir. The building dates back to 1886, when it was once used as a blacksmith's shop. Inside the restaurant, there really isn't a bad place to sit, as almost every table offers some view, even those not directly in front of a window. Of course come the summer months, the most coveted spots are outside on the restaurant's covered deck. The deck and the restaurant's cozy bar with a stone fireplace are especially romantic spots. The restaurant features sandwiches and other light fare, along with some impressive, standard entrees like crab cakes and surf and turf.
