Cozy doesn't cover the elbowroom-only counter service at Pete's. But when a place is crowded, it usually means the food is either cheap or good. In the case of Pete's, it's consistently both. Feeding both hung-over college students and sun-up construction workers, Pete's doesn't shy away from serving up blue-collar delicacies like scrapple. Although since they've abandoned the original blueberry pancake recipe, the joint's lost a little luster.

All the food is great, freshly prepared every morning. As for cleanliness, it is clean, the building is just old! Best service in town!
