The Death Set at Sonar
Death Set at Sonar
May 12, 2008
Another Taxlo event at Sonar, another mob of sweaty kids beating each other senseless while crowded around a high-energy band that refuses to play on a stage. However, The Old Haunts managed to pull off a "traditional" stage performance and they received a decent amount of praise from the audience, as well. After the Old Haunts set, The Death Set set up its gear in the audience and multiple photographers swarmed around like a bunch of ambulance chasers. And once singer Johnny Siera hit the play button on his iPod/automated drum machine, everyone in the room jumped up, jumped up and got down.—Rob Perry
