Baltimore has a long and storied history of good grooves, but for some reason the musicians behind these grooves have never received the recognition they deserved. Places such as Chicago, Detroit and Atlanta have been overshadowing B-more for years. But all of that is changing. "The Wire"'s klieg lights have finally illuminated for the rest of the country what we have known all along—-Baltimore has soul. Deep soul.
