D.C. voters took a break from their Obama/Clinton discussions to rock out with three current Presidents of the United States of America at the 9:30 Club on March 25. Before the Presidents gave their "rock of the union" address, Jack Talcum of The Dead Milkmen took the stage armed with an acoustic guitar and harmonica; surprisingly enough, "Punk Rock Girl" still works without the distortion and drums.

The Presidents played all the faves ("Lump," "Peaches," "Mach 5," "Volcano," etc.) as well as several songs off their latest release, "These are the Good Times People." While they may not be solving all the nation's problems, at least these Presidents don't disappoint on the issue of rocking out.—Rob Perry
