Noise in the Basement at The Quarter

Local band showcase makes a change of venue

98 Rock's live showcase for local bands has a new home. Longtime Fletcher's resident Noise in the Basement took the stage at The Quarter at Bourbon Street on June 1. Even though June shows feature a $0.98 cover, $0.98 parking and an open bar for the first 98 minutes, the crowd seemed relatively sparse in The Quarter's vast space. The Mishaps, The Sick Tight Nasty Nasty, Stupid Hero and Mad Dog Ants brought plenty of energy, though, and managed to make so much noise our ears were still ringing well into the next day.
