Gomez and Ben Kweller sold out Sonar March 10. The alt-rock acts put on a high-energy show that frequently erupted in full audience sing-alongs. Kweller, looking like a boyish Bob Dylan and sounding like a young Jeff Tweedy, gave thanks to his parents (who were in the audience) and instructed everyone to vote for his new video (featuring his grandmother) on MTV's "TRL." Gomez came across as a bit more seasoned, but no less energetic. The only pause in their set came when they let the audience sing the bulk of their late-'90s ode to illegal substances: "Get Myself Arrested."--Andy Cook
