See shenanigans from the Irish punk rockers' Rams Head Live March 6 show

Special to Metromix
By now, Dropkick Murphys are regulars at Rams Head Live! The same can not be said for H2O; the band repeatedly talked about how great/better D.C. is. Members really showed their age when they referenced clubs in Baltimore that have been closed for decades. After listening to that for awhile, it would have made more sense for them to sing "we're older than the world" rather than "faster than the world." The sold out show was teeming with fans hungry for the Murphys though, the tension only heightened by Celtic music playing on the P.A. and the solemn vigil of candles lining the stage. After tonight, the band will continue "shipping up to Boston" to play a week straight of shows leading to Saint Patrick's Day, which, at this point, might as well be called Dropkick Murphys Day if you're in New England.
