Among Wolves plays a variety of sounds, sometimes leaving country altogether and verging into indie rock. When listening to Among Wolves, however, transitions from classic country tunes like "Hard to Die" to more indie fare like "Baltimore" seem to make sense. Probably not for those who drink their whiskey straight while working on their carburetors, but good listening for anyone who doesn't mind synths mixed into their country rock.
