Pulling Teeth
Conceived in the dark corners of Baltimore, Pulling Teeth features the guitar work of Dom Romeo and Danny Parker, the beats of Alex Henderson and Chris Kuhn on bass. The frontman for this hardcore act is legendary, at least among area punk fans. Mike Riley has been a member of countless local hardcore acts and is the current big cheese for the local labels Firestarter and Toxic Pop Records.
Started as a side project from bands like Slumlords, the Spark and Never Enough, Pulling Teeth has become popular enough to spend three or four months out of the year touring. The overly complicated description of their sound goes something like this: Slayer meets Integrity meets Left For Dead meets Black Sabbath. But we just think they sound like awesome rage rock. Catch them at one of their regular nights at the Charm City Art Space, The Ottobar or the Talking Head.
Lineup: Mike Riley, vocals; Dom Romeo, guitar; Danny Parker, guitar; Alex Henderson, drums; Chris Kuhn, bass
